the gingerbread man can can! $40

A little Christmassy song, the Gingerbread Man dances the oom-pah gently around his gingerbread house.

spaghetti symphony $40

Why do we always use letters A, B and C to mark the sections in our sheet music? It would be way more fun to use "pizza" "pasta" and "vege hot dogs"! This entertaining piece has lyrics for the kids to say in their heads whilst playing, or which can be sung out loud. When played instrumentally it actually sounds quite pretty!

so pretty $40

sugar overload! $40

What happens when you go to a party and eat too much sugar? Composed with Year 6 student Alexandra Deas, this piece is an interactive, slightly ridiculous song for beginner band! It includes some fun shouting moments (“Lolly Mania!”) and a chance for chaotic simultaneous improvisation before the surprise ending. A great way to get your training band students to get their eyes out of their music stands!

zombie monkeys $40

A hilarious and engaging tune for beginner musicians. Imitate zombie monkeys swinging from trees, scream in utter fright and challenge yourself with extremely soft and extremely loud dynamics!

al medina $40

The ow song!! $30

Year 3 student Kate Handfield thinks we should spend more time empathising with our poor instruments, especially the ones that get banged on! Ow!

moths in the sleeping forest $30

Composed for Camdenville Public School, this scary piece is a good one to memorise as an ensemble and do without the sheet music. Why not hide around the room and play it?! Or play it in the dark?!

snowflake mountain $40

Introduce your training band students to 5/4 and 6/4 counting, in this gorgeous yet straight-forward piano/keyboard feature which goes from twinkly snowflakes in changing time signatures (with a steady counting pulse in the percussion) to a catchy 4/4 prog-rock ending. The piano solo is deceptively easy, only using the notes C, D, E, F and G in the solo moments of the intro and outro.
